Invisible Dust produced an exciting programme of artworks for the Scarborough Seafest in 2017. The event included a new film and Q&A on ‘Avoiding Green’ by Phil Coy about local fishermen. Visitors were invited to watch ‘Coral Love Story: Chapter #1’ by Kasia Molga – a performance in which a dancer dressed in a haptic second skin, received signals from dying corals as vibrations onto her body and interpreted them through dance. Seafest 2017 also saw a presentation of sound artwork inspired by Spurn Point, an atmospheric sand tidal island located off the tip of the coast of the East Riding of Yorkshire. The sound piece was created by local poet John Wedgwood Clarke and sound artist Rob Mackay. Artworks by Badgers of Bohemia in their West Pier studio were also present at the event. 

Visitors were invited to learn about Invisible Dust and our work, plus watch Kasia’s performances and take part in some deep sea creature workshops
